Information on arrangements
If you need to report a problem with a street light go to the WCBC Interactive Map
There are navy dots and yellow dots on the map. A navy dot shows a lighting column that belongs to the Community Council. If there’s a problem with one of these let the Clerk know asap and she’ll get it sorted as soon as possible. Go to our Contact Page for details of how to get in touch.
If the faulty light is shown with a yellow circle this is one that belongs to WCBC – you should be able to report the fault using the interactive map. There’s more information on how to do this provided by WCBC on their Street Lighting and Illuminated Street Furniture page.
If you are unable to report the faulty light using the interactive map you can telephone Contact Wrexham on this number: 01978 298989. When reporting a faulty street light you need to provide the following information if you can: the lamp number (this is located on a label on the post) and the location in road (e.g. reference to a house number).
Cllr Mike Harriman chairs the Lighting Committee. Minutes of meetings can be found on the Lighting Committee page.
